The 2 Bears return to active service with a twelve week residency at one of London’s best underground clubs, XOYO – beginning at the start of April. Ahead of a new record, Joe and Raf have put together a killer line up that includes Four Tet, Daphni (Carobou), Henrik Schwarz, Rob da Bank, Andrew Weatherall, Pachanga Boys and many many more. Ahead of proper 2 Bears album news in the New Year, Joe and Raf have been busying themselves with a bit of on air DJing and a couple of remixes. First up, they stepped back into the Rinse studio this week for a show on Tuesday night. There’s a podcast version of it online here. Remix wise, there are reworks of Tookah, the title track off the last Emiliana Torrini album and of
the brilliant new John Wizards’ single Muizenberg (if you’ve not heard the LP, it’s a blinder). More news coming soon.

The 2 Bears are playing a series of dates across the States alongside the Hot Chip tour. Check their Facebook site for up to the minute additions.
NEW BUILD are a new band featuring Hot Chip members Al Doyle and Felix Martin. Al is also known for his time playing guitar for LCD Soundsystem.
They have put together a 7 piece live band featuring synths, drums, guitars, percussion, lots of singing, and general making of loud noises!
And they are taking it on the road this Spring to mark the release of their first ever album, visiting GLASGOW, LEEDS, MANCHESTER, LONDON, NEW YORK, SXSW, AMSTERDAM, BRUSSELS, PARIS, BERLIN, COLOGNE, COPENHAGEN & STOCKHOLM!
There will be some very cool support acts along the way, including BANG & OLUFSEN, a new duo which comprises ALEXIS TAYLOR and ROB SMOUGHTON (GROVESNOR).
And for the LONDON show there are even more very special guests! The party has now sold out but £5 tickets for the afterparty with all the DJ sets are still available, just arrive after 11pm.
The date is Friday March 9th, the venue is Corsica Studios in London.
New Build will be playing live earlier in the evening, and the show will be followed by a club night until 4am.
Now featuring the supreme DJ-ing talents of Joe Goddard and Raf Rundell (The 2 Bears), Dominik Eulberg and Hannah Holland!
The party is part of the first New Build tour in the UK, Europe and the US. It is to mark the release of the first New Build album “Yesterday Was Lived And Lost”.
